Half-day conference on Economic crime on 28 May at Karlstad University

The Academy of Insolvency Law hereby invites you to a half-day conference on May 28 at 13.15-about 16.45 on economic crime with the theme: Legal aspects due to the handling of the ecocrime cases against Mats Qviberg and HQ bank and Victor Muller in SAAB. The conference begins with the chairman of the Supreme Court, Stefan Lindskog, speaking on the subject of precedent formation and legal case analysis. Attorneys Rolf Åbjörnsson and Hans Strandberg are well known in insolvency and criminal law. Both have had several significant assignments in large well-known cases, two of which will be highlighted at this conference, which will also analyze the Ecocrime Authority's working methods.

The Academy for Insolvency Law gathers expertise from law, economics and other subjects to develop and strengthen research, education and collaboration in the field of insolvency law.

The Academy for Insolvency Law has been established to increase the focus on insolvency law and improve the conditions for interdisciplinary studies between law, business administration and other subjects. With insolvency law as a starting point, subject areas that are closely associated with, among other things, contract, purchase, labor and tax law as well as crimes against creditors and other related crimes are also treated.
